Spaghetti Pie Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz.) pasta sauce
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°Fahrenheit. Grease a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
- Cook spaghetti as per the package instructions and drain well. Add 1 tbsp. of oil and toss to coat.
- In a pan, brown the ground beef and drain the excess fat. Add pasta sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- In a separate bowl, mix cooked spaghetti, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and eggs. Toss to combine.
- In the greased pie dish, spread half of the spaghetti mixture on the bottom.
- Top with the meat sauce. Spread the remaining spaghetti mixture over the sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove the casserole from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
